subject: Bending Reality with Your Words...
Winter Haven, Fl January 7, 2007
"If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that
believeth." Mark 9:23
I am going to challenge you to bend "reality"
along with me... a 21 day challenge...
You have the ability to change not only your barefooting
but any situation in your life.
How?
Almost every day here at The Footer's Edge Training Center,
I help someone achieve their barefooting dreams.

The challenge I face in instructing is choosing the words
that will guide you to your barefooting miracle as quickly
and safely as possible.
I have spent a tremendous amount of time and money studying
the power of words. Each day, my word choice is put to
real time testing.
If you and I are skiing together, my words can determine your
thoughts, actions, and safety. I cannot be in business if my
word choice is poor.
Gregory Dickow published a series of Cd's called
"Framing Your World with Your Words."
It has changed my life dramatically...almost immediately...
and I want you to benefit by what I have found.
Your words are directly responsible for your thoughts.
Your thoughts influence your emotions.
Your emotions influence your actions.
Your actions influence your habits.
Your habits influence your destiny.
Change your words and you can bend your "reality" to become
your ultimate dream life. The path to your destiny can be
changed by taking control of what comes out of your mouth.
Here is my 21 day challenge inspired by Gregory Dickow and
put into practice with a great idea from Will Bowen of
Missouri.
He recommended using a purple bracelet (you can use any
bracelet or watch) to remind yourself to not complain for 21
days.
21 days is the recognized time it takes to form a new habit.
You probably know that I am a positive person, but I still
found myself speaking about problems or situations where I
was "perturbed" about something or someone.
I have come to the conclusion that speaking to anyone about
pain, sickness, a co-worker, a spouse, child, or anyone in a
way that can not be viewed as complimentary, is simply
useless.
Here is the rule. Each time you complain, switch your band,
watch, or whatever to remind yourself not to complain. Each
complaint requires you to start over.
It is a tremendous challenge to hold your tongue, but the
benefits are life altering...and will definitely improve your
barefooting.
"Even a fool when he holds his peace is considered wise; when
he closes his lips he is esteemed a man of understanding."
--Proverbs 17:28

Want immediate proof?
Try this concept with your best friend, an enemy, a child,
your wife, ski buddy.
How about a volunteer judge or scorer at a tournament?
Think about who influenced you the most as a child or adult.
How did they do it?
Pride yourself on the ultimate in mind control...
word control!
Expect a Miracle!
